This book! THIS BOOK! Oh my goodness. This is the perfect love story fantasy of your dreams that you imagine happening to you. It goes every which way you want it to go, and it does it by not being too predictable. You fall in love with the characters. (ALEX) You love everything about them: their flaws, their insecurities, their wittiness, their humor. Specifically, I love how Alex is to himself, a lone wolf. He doesn’t open up to many people, but once Poppy comes along she basically forces it out of him. This is something new to Alex so he likes it, even if he has a hard time showing it. Poppy isn’t used to being so reserved, so breaking Alex out of his shell and getting to know all of him was something very special to her, and it also calms her down a bit too. You just imagine yourself as the main character and want this to come true. This is an adorable story of best friends to lovers, and it is something you hope everyone can find.
